There's so much I don't know - but this I do: God loves you, and extravagantly so. Growth is slow. That's okay. Be content with the revelation that comes gradually. Say, "My soul, never be offended by the Bible." And when you come to the hard, uncomfortable, unsettling parts, just echo, "My soul, never be offended by the Bible."
Little by little, you'll know more and more. More of the extravagant, unshakeable, relentless, and unstoppable love that Jesus lavishes upon you. And more will start to make sense.
On the other side of your choice, is a God who responds to your open heart.
